American Citizen Services Assistant

Salary: (MAD) MAD252,016/Per Year

The U.S. Consulate in Casablanca is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of American Citizen Services Assistant in the Consular section. The work schedule for this position is Full Time (40 hours per week) Start date: Candidates must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (two months) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of increasingly responsible work that involves the application of complex regulatory material or legal interpretation and continuous contact with the public/customer service.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:  Must have a thorough knowledge of local laws and customs, particularly those relating to domestic relationships and criminal procedure.  Education Requirements:

Two years of college or university studies, in general coursework is required.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE:  

• Level IV (Fluency) in written and spoken English and French is required.( This will be tested)

• Level IV (Fluency) in written and spoken English and French is required.( This may be tested)

• Level IV (Fluency) in written and spoken Arabic is required.

For positions that require English Level, applications MUST be submitted in English.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be able to exercise tact and good judgement in dealing with the public – often under difficult and sensitive circumstances.
• Must have the ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating evidence, applying complex regulations correctly, and giving technical advice to consular officers.

IRM Admin Clerk

Salary:(MAD) MAD146,597/Per Year

The US Embassy in Rabat is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of the IRM Admin Clerk in the Information Management Office. The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week) Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of experience working in an IT Help Desk or IT customer service position is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE

The incumbent must be IT savvy and be able to identify and resolve various basic IT problems, including hardware and software issues on Microsoft Windows 10-equipped workstations and user Microsoft Active Directory (AD) user accounts with minimal assistance.Education Requirements:

 – High school diploma.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: (Please pay special attention to languages requirement. If you certify that you do not have the required language level proficiency, you will be disqualified)

English: (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading and Writing  is required (this will be tested)

French : (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading and Writing is required (this may be tested)

Arabic : (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading is required.(this may be tested)
